Course Finder: Golf in Ontario ("the App") is operated by Bryan Laks ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
We are committed to keeping your data minimal. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

When you submit a review, the App generates a random identifier and stores it on your device using local storage. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID, name, email address, or any personal account. Its sole purpose is to allow you to identify and delete your own reviews within the App. It is stored alongside your review in our database.
If you contact us via email for support, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data beyond what Apple's standard App Store and TestFlight tools provide automatically.

Golf course data and user-submitted reviews are stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Reviews include the name you provide, your star rating, your written comment, and the anonymous device identifier described above. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal account.
Supabase stores data on servers located in the United States. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not share, sell, or rent any personal information to any other third parties. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or tracking libraries.
Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to or stored by us.
User-submitted reviews are retained until you delete them within the App, or until you contact us requesting removal. The anonymous device identifier associated with a review is deleted along with the review.
If you email us for support, your email may be retained for up to 12 months for the purpose of follow-up support, after which it is deleted.
Course Finder: Golf in Ontario is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit. The anonymous device identifier stored with reviews is randomly generated and contains no personal information. We do not store passwords, payment information, or government identifiers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
